lnstitute’s educational paradigms are centred around creation of future enlightened leadership for the plantation sector.

  • Training Paradigm
    The BEST Manager: lnstitute’s training paradigm is centred around the concept of the BEST manager (B: Behavioural, E: Economic, S: Strategic, T: Technical). The training programmes are designed keeping in view these four dimensions to make them relevant and useful to the participants.
  • Management Education Paradigm

    Institute’s management education philosophy is rooted in the following key ideas:

“BEST” model as a basis for management education, wherein BEST indicates four aspects of management and leadership viz. Behavioural, Economic, Strategic & Technical.

Grass Root Action & Management (GRAM) is combined with corporate excellence, integrating the corporate vision, industry vision and social vision.

Social sensitivity and social concern as important aspects of management education.

A synthesis of the Western approaches and the Eastern intuitive insights as reflected through the blending of tradition and modernity.

    Action Based Research: lnstitute’s research paradigm is defined by action based research. This approach to research makes the research meaningful and useful to the practitioners. Action based research also allows practitioners to contribute to the development of the experience based knowledge.

  • Strategic Think Ahead Forum: Institute acts as a Strategic Think Ahead Forum by providing intellectual support to the plantation and associated agri-business sector. For this purpose it brings together academicians and practitioners for strategic scenario mappings
