Highly insightful special address by Sh. Jalaj Shrivastava, IAS (1984), Former Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India, on “Emerging Scopes in Plantation and Allied Sectors”.


He cited several examples to illustrate the untapped business potential of unique produces like sea buckthorn, gerbera flower, blueberry, apricot, agar, saffron etc., and he explained the significance of some of the government initiatives viz., National Bamboo Mission, Bhoomi Program, Fasal Bima Yojana, Sinchai Yojana and agri-credit facilities


Dr. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Vice Chancellor, Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), Andhra Pradesh, made a courtesy call to the Director, IIPMB Prof. Rakesh Mohan Joshi , for mutual collaboration between two institutions. There is tremendous potential for collaboration work on Exports of Agricultural Products. Thank you Prof. Vishnuvardhan Reddy Sir for visiting IIPMB.

Prajapati, who is the Chairman of Verghese Kurien Centre of Excellence (VKCoE), IRMA, who addressed young minds and shared his thoughts gained by him over several decades while delivering special talk on“Business Potential of Probiotic Functional Foods” at lustrous greenery campus in Namma Bengaluru.

We at IIPMB thank Dr. Jashbhai B. Prajapathi for enlightening the young minds on the future trends of opportunities in production, marketing, value addition, export and multi dimensional facts and areas in Probiotic Foods.

Ms. Komal Sable, hailing from the 5th generation coffee planters from Coorg was emphasizing on the fundamental ethos to push higher degree of profits to the planters and make if financially benefitial for them to focus on long term investment in practices and processes that lead to sustainable and quality coffee. We at Indian Institute of Plantation Management thank you for addressing the young managers on the coffee scenario at local and international arena.
