It gives me great pleasure to invite you to the International Conference on AgriTech & Plantation 5.0, to be held from 25th to 26th September 2026 at IIPM Bengaluru.

IIPM Bengaluru, a premier and autonomous institute in agribusiness and plantation management, is proud to host this international conference to address critical issues in the agribusiness and plantation sectors through the exchange of research insights, innovation practices, and industry experiences.

As part of the conference programme, a pre-conference session will be conducted, which will include the inaugural session and technical sessions on the lead topic of each track.

The conference invites leading academic scientists, researchers, faculty, and research scholars from around the world, representing diverse disciplines, to share their experiences, research findings, and innovative solutions on key aspects of technological innovation, sustainability, and value chain transformation in agribusiness and plantations.

About the conference

The agribusiness and plantations sector is experiencing rapid transformation driven by technological advancements, sustainability pressures, and evolving market demands, impacting everything from farming practices to supply chains.

AgriTech & Plantation 5.0 integrates AI, IoT, automation, and financial innovations with climate-resilient, regenerative, and value-chain driven business strategies. Therefore, this conference addresses the key drivers of such transformation as technological innovation, sustainability imperatives, and evolving market trends.

Submission Tracks

The conference welcomes original research papers, case studies, and extended abstracts on a wide range of topics related to agribusiness, plantations, sustainability, innovation, and market transformation. Submissions may address, but are not limited to, the following tracks:

Publication Opportunity

The conference has collaborated with the editors of the British Food Journal (ABDC–B, Scopus indexed) to invite authors of high-quality papers that fall within the journal’s scope. Selected authors will be encouraged to submit their manuscripts for consideration, and the editorial team will give such submissions expedited review.

The conference is organized in collaboration with the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), a leading body promoting management education and research. Authors of high-quality papers will have the opportunity to submit their work to South Asian Journal of Management (SAJM) (ABDC–C indexed).

The remaining quality-assured papers from the conference will be published in the International Journal of Agribusiness and Plantation Management (IJAPM), the institute’s peer-reviewed journal, as part of the conference proceedings.
