About PGDM-AEBM Program

This page is Under Construction

India has a wide variety of Agri-plantation-horticultural produce that have potential markets beyond the national boundaries. There is a great opportunity for marketing the raw produce along with value-added products internationally, for which a foreign market analysis, especially for export, is required. The export management programmes are designed to enable participants to have detailed insights into enhancing the acceptance and marketability of these products in the global markets.

The program curriculum is based on varied learning methodologies including interactive lectures, real-life case analysis & discussions, role plays, field assignments, simulation exercises, corporate internships, interactions with successful entrepreneurs, mentoring by industry experts, and visits to export business units. PGDM-AEBM enables its students to enrich their skills related to cross-cultural communication, negotiations, team-working, problem-solving, decision-making, and creativity which are critical for success in export business contexts. This multidimensional approach makes students corporate-ready for assuming roles related to global marketing, overseas market research, customer relationship management, trade negotiations, order processing & fulfilment, forex management, risk assessment and mitigation, in-country & across-border supply chain management, logistics operations, and global project management. Besides, students develop entrepreneurial competencies through business plan preparation training, market potential studies, case development on existing entrepreneurial ventures, and on-the-job assignments in export units. Thus, this program with each outgoing batch will create a pool of professional managers and business leaders needed for the Indian agricultural export sector.
