Indian Institute of Plantation Management, Bangalore is an exclusive, sectoral school of management. It is based on five foundational concepts or principles that define its scope of activities. The five basic principles have been identified, keeping in view the think tank requirements as well as the management education needs of the owner – planters, plantation and associated agri-business managers and the officials of Commodity Boards of India.
