Dr. Sudha S is serving as Assistant Professor in the Finance and Accounting area at Indian Institute of Plantation Management. Her areas of teaching interest lies in Financial Accounting, Financial Management and Banking with a focus on Agri-banking, Project Finance and climate risk integration in designing banking products.  She obtained her Ph.D. from the Dept. Of Econometrics, University of Madras for her thesis titled “Corporate Sustainability, Financial Performance and Stock Markets-an empirical analysis of Indian listed companies’.  Previously, she was serving as faculty at Great Lakes Institute of Management and then with VIT Business School, Chennai.  She is Editorial Manager of Asia-Pacific Management Review, Elsevier.  She has presented her research work in International conferences conducted by IISc, Bangalore as well as IIM, Kozhikode.

Her current areas of interests is Financial Management for Agri-export business,  sustainability reporting, carbon markets and sustainable finance and its potential for agri-food and plantation companies. 

Sudha Srinivasan’s research interests are in ESG (Sustainability reporting) and its impact on Financial performance; Banking, Agri-finance, Agri-Fintech, Financial Markets, Sustainable Finance, especially carbon finance and voluntary carbon markets for plantation agroforestry projects in India. Her research work has been published in the journals Environment, Development and Sustainability (Springer, Netherlands) and in Management of Environmental Quality (Emerald, UK).

Dr. Sudha Srinivasan teaches the core course Financial Management and Elective courses – Banking and Project Finance for the PG programs Agribusiness and Plantation Management and Food Processing and Business Management.
