Dr. Manmohan Yadav is currently working as a Professor in International Business Area at IIPMB. He is teaching courses on Digital Marketing; International Marketing Management, Customs, Shipping & Insurance; International Contracts and Trade Laws etc.

Dr. Yadav has been in academia for more than 28 years and worked for more than 9 years in Food & Dairy Processing Industry.

Prior to joining IIPMB, Dr. Yadav worked as Professor of Marketing and Dean at Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

While at IIFM he made remarkable contributions to the Forestry sector in general, and the Indian Institute of Forest Management in particular, as an educator, researcher, and administrator.

In addition to his exceptional academic and research abilities, Dr. Yadav has demonstrated his effectiveness and visionary leadership as an administrator at IIFM. In his capacity as the Dean at IIFM, he has been instrumental in shaping institutional strategies.

Dr. Yadav has research interest in sustainable and green products & brands; sustainable & global value chains; sustainability certifications and international trade in agriculture and forestry products.

Dr. Yadav during his 37 years of working in academia and industry has made significant contributions through teaching, research and administration.

While at IIFM, Dr. Yadav designed and taught courses on Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Sustainability and Green Marketing, International Business, Sustainable Natural Resources Management and Sustainability Certification.

Through his research, Dr. Yadav has made excellent contributions to both academia and the forestry sector. Dr. Yadav’s work focuses on marketing management with a particular emphasis on forestry products and services, including non-timber forest products and ecotourism. In particular, his influential studies on forest certification and sustainable development have informed policy making in the Indian forestry sector.

Dr. Yadav played a pivotal role in designing and launching the MBA (Agri-business) programme at the Institute of Agribusiness Management, Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner, prior to joining IIFM.

Dr. Yadav was part of the development teams at Sugam Dairy (a R&D Unit of NDDB) for piloting of Tetra Pack Milk and Ice-cream products under Sugam and Amul brands and at Jaipur Dairy (a unit of RCDF) for development of Table Butter and other traditional dairy products prior to moving to academics.

Dr. Yadav has undertaken more than 40 research studies and consulting assignments on a range of topics such as natural resources management and sustainability certification, value chain analysis, natural resources-based enterprises/business models, resource assessment, Impact assessment, trade and marketing.
