Faculty members at IIPM have a wide range of interests in the core areas of production and operations, human
resources, marketing, organizational strategy, finance etc., Some of the areas of faculty research includes: new venture formation and growth; social entrepreneurship and value creation; organizational learning and adaptation;
effect of self and groups on consumer behavior; human resources and competitiveness; strategic investments and
corporate growth, branding and new product development, strategic marketing and commodity price risk
management. The highlight of FPM program is to enable each scholar draws on faculty member’s diverse expertise
and interests to come up with a theme that suits his or her interests.

Fellow Program in Management aims to develop accomplished and ethical researchers in the field of agribusiness, plantation, food and allied areas, who seek to discover and diffuse new knowledge in order to meaningfully contribute to the academic community in particular and to the larger business community and society, in general. The incorporation of diverse methodologies, philosophies and perspectives enables cultivation of critical thinking skills among the FPM scholars that results in relevant research outputs in their respective domains.

The eligibility conditions and assessment of part time and full time FPM students remain the same. For being considered eligible to apply for the program the candidate should have at least one of the following degrees from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as an Institute under Section-3 of UGC Act, 1956; or, recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India:
